At the Grand Opening of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Pasadena, over 600 apprentices from around the world will arrive in Southern California to present two charitable cultural performances on Sunday, October 15th, at the renowned Pasadena Civic Auditorium. These productions, combining modern technology, special effects, animation, and audio-visual elements, not only showcase the beauty of art and culture but also embody the spirit and values of an ancient lineage, delivering awe-inspiring positive energy to the audience!
At 2:00 PM, the theatrical presentation, "Back to the Origin" is a recreation of the masterpiece it performed during the Sydney Olympics. It will lead the audience on a profound spiritual journey back to the origin of the universe.
At 7:00 PM, "Cultural Gems: Love and Prayers for the World" unveils a new life for a 6,000-year-old ancient culture. It features the five auspicious beasts from the East: the Dragon, Phoenix, Peacock, Kirin, and Celestial Lion, along with angels of love from the West, bestowing blessings upon humanity. This performance will showcase the unique charm of Tai Ji Men's "Kung Fu of the Heart," leaving the audience in admiration.

Tai Ji Men is a treasure trove of traditional Chinese culture and holds the key to unlock the origin of wisdom. The culture of Tai Ji Men is deeply rooted in Tao wisdom, inheriting one of the highest philosophies of mankind, which has been passed down and practiced in a cloistered tradition since ancient times. The contemporary Zhang-men-ren (grandmaster) of Tai Ji Men, Dr. Hong Tao Tze, established Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in 1966 in response to a calling to bring both physical and spiritual health to modern society. Dr. Hong teaches his dizi (apprentices) the philosophy and wisdom of life; guiding them to cultivate moral character and purify hearts while strengthening physical, mental and spiritual health. Through different qigong practice techniques and self-cultivation, Tai Ji Men dizi learn to reach the highest state of unity between heart and qi, harmony between heaven and man, finding the true self and returning to original purity.
