*Having been invited to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, Tai Ji Men is the only cultural group of qigong and martial arts to perform in the Olympic Park.
*It is the first international organization to parade along Olympic Boulevard.
*It is Taiwan’s first organization of qigong and martial arts to perform in the Sydney Opera House.

Photo: In late September 2000, Tai Ji Men stirred up a cultural whirlwind of Eastern martial arts in Sydney, Australia. The media praised Tai Ji Men: "The Western modern sports meet an Eastern ancient exercise: Tai Ji Men Qigong displays spiritual wonder and awe that transcends national boundaries."

The Light of Culture: The Glory of Taiwan
In 2002, the Cultural Goodwill Group of FOWPAL visited 12 nations in East Africa, Central Africa,West Africa, South Africa, North Africa, etc. In addition to conducting cultural exchanges with various countries, it also participated in the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa and the Egyptian International Conference on Protected Areas and Sustainable Development in Egypt.

Photo: In 2001, Tai Ji Men received First Place in Martial Arts and Kung Fu Group Demonstration at the 8th World Cup International Martial Arts Championship, and was awarded the first place in 4 competitions, including Internal and External Quan (Chinese boxing), Weaponry and Qigong. Tai Ji Men was also bestowed the "World Top" Outstanding Performance Golden Award.

Mayor Anthony A. Williams of the District of Columbia proclaimed March 22, 2000 as the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy Day in Washington, D.C. in recognition of Tai Ji Men’s contribution in promoting goodwill and culture.

If politics is the body of a nation, then culture is its soul. Political parties rise and fall just as the body ages and dies, but the spirit of culture lasts forever, perpetuating the lifeline of a nation and the value of human life.
