Quentin’s Path Toward His Dream

Quentin
Quentin has loved food since childhood, especially his grandmother’s braised pork rice, which helped him grow strong and healthy. Gifted in sports, he joined the baseball team in first grade and quickly became the starting pitcher and cleanup hitter.

In the fall of 2024, he began experiencing arm pain and was diagnosed with “Little League Elbow,” requiring two months of rest. Though discouraged, Quentin drew strength from his years of training at Tai Ji Men, where he developed resilience and inner power. Unable to pitch, he continued contributing to the team with outstanding batting and fielding. After recovery, he returned to the mound, delivering high-level performances once again.

Beyond baseball, Quentin actively trains in Tai Ji Men’s majestic war drum team, strengthening his shoulders and legs while applying qigong breathing techniques to stabilize emotions and enhance performance. During the Walnut dojo’s 25th anniversary preparations, he juggled two baseball games every Sunday and U10 American football matches every Saturday, all while committing to weekly drum practice. His perseverance and time management reflect his determination and fearless spirit.

Quentin hopes that through Tai Ji Men’s holistic education, he will one day stand on the Major League Baseball stage and become a top professional player.
