The Tai Ji Men Qigong practicing diary from a 5th-grader

In the 1st year I joined Tai Ji Men, I attended the event entitled 2008 Concert of Thanksgiving and Gratitude for Global Commitment to Safeguarding the Planet. When listening to bothers and sisters singing the song "the sun and rain", and watcing pictures and reports of natural disasters on a big screen, I was frightened. I was worried when these disasters would happen again and if I would be killed.
Then I remember one day my Shifu Dr.Hong Tao-tzi said that every one will die someday. We should engage in doing good deeds to compensate for prior mistakes. He reminds us to live happily every single day, and listen to what our parents have said to us. Therefore, when Shifu told us to practice qigong every day, I took his words seriously and practice daily to enhance my immune system. I trust Shifu’s love to us and follow every his advise to read Tai Ji Men website to fill with positive energy at least twice a week, send friends and relatives Tai Ji Men greeting cards, and make wishes on Tai Ji Men website. Moreover, I feel peace and happy when share what I have learned in Tai Ji Men with friends. I hope the world full of love and peace and no disasters, and every child of the world can grow happily and safely like me.
last year, Shifu taught us the importance of 4 anchors of manners, justice, incorrupt, and shame. At that time, one thing happened to me that helped me realize why the 4 anchors are important.
In a gym class, my classmates and I found a bunch of balls in a big box. My classmates took the balls out without permission from teachers, and I didn’t refuse though I hesitated for a while. When realizing it’s actually school-rule- breaking behavior, I heard a big "kang~" sound. The glass of the gym was broken. We were all stunned. I regretted that I didn’t make the right decision and made this mistake.
When I went home, I thought I would be punished. However, after knowing what happened in school, my parents told me that’s ok to make mistakes, but reminded me to learn the lesson from the mistake and avoid the same wongdoing next time. After this, I reflected and reminded myself of what Shifu has taught the "4 anchors." I then realized that careless actions bring mistakes easily. If people do things that should not be done, then happy things will turned out to be unhappy ones. So I wish myself not to forget the wisdom Shifu taught us and practice it all the time.
Although I have many shortcomings to be corrected, and am playful, but I follow Shifu’s teachings to reflect myself and correct my own behavior step by step. For example, Shifu told us to be nice to parents, so I massage for my parents when they are tired, and do schoolwork without their reminding. Moreover, Shifu and Shimu are just like our parents in the Tai Ji Men big family, taking care us and teaching us the way of dealing with people. Therefore, I regard Shifu and Shimu as great, and I am deeply grateful to them.
