OUR VISIT TO FOWPAL AND THE TAI JI MEN QIGONG ACADEMY

May 28, 2005, Dr. Hong, Tao Tze, President of FOWPAL (Federation of World Peace and Love), extended an invitation to Paul Sladkus, Founder and President of Good News Corporation and Martin and Terri Hirsch, Travel Writers, to visit FOWPAL and the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy. We were deeply moved by Dr. Hong devotion and contribution in promoting world peace.
In conversations with Dr. Hong, we discussed yin and yang, wisdom and the ringing of the Bell of Peace. Dr. Hong believes that only a sincere heart can touch the depths of one's soul. By experiencing the depth of our hearts we can change ourselves. When we understand ourselves wisdom will come. We should inspire people to better themselves. Now is the time to change the world by joint efforts in seeking peaceful, harmonious, and humane resolutions to world problems. Everyone is important because it is everyone that spreads peace and love.
Through the ceremony of ringing the Bell of Peace, FOWPAL wishes to unite individuals from around the world to work together for a peaceful world. Why ring the Bell - to make people rise and join together for peace.
A specially arranged Tai Ji Men Cultural Theatre performance by FOWPAL members and the Tai Ji Men was presented. It included a martial arts formation, a sword dance and a breathtaking flute presentation. Afterwards, the theatre performers sang Love of the World. Love of the World is a declaration of peace expressed to all humanity. The music was so beautiful that we shared singing and dancing with the cultural performers and Dr. Hong. All of us felt enduring happiness.
