Hosted by the National Cultural Association Religion Committee, the 2008 Peace & Bliss Music Concert was successfully closed on January 19 at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. The fourth consecutive event was organized by Chairperson Master Venerable Hsing Yun and Vice Chair His Eminence Paul Cardinal SHAN, SJ, with delegates from 11 religious groups
Representing the Taoism Society of the R.O.C., Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy, a group member of the Taipei Taoism Society, combines the beauty of qigong and martial arts, and prays for the world with the dance of Love and Peace.
invited, including Catholicism, Protestantism, Taoism, Ri Religion, Islam, Ten Ri Kyo, the Tienti Teaching, I-kuan Tao, Tien De Religion, Hsuan-yuanism and Buddhism. For the first time the diplomatic and trade representatives from Guatemala, Gambia, Austria, Sweden, Italy, European Economic and Trade Office, Indonesia, Ulaanbaatar, Honduras and Paraguay were invited, and together with religious leaders to pray for the world.
Tai Ji Men 18-Arhat formation is to follow the hearts of tranquility and kindness of the 18 Arhats and prays to the Heaven for blessings for all creatures. We wish all living lives peace and security.
President Chen Shui-bian of the National Cultural Association was present for the concert. The major religious groups delivered their wishes for prevailing peace in Taiwan and the world and happiness for humankind and all living creatures in forms of cultural dancing, singings and music.
Varied appearances on the earth are to unite everyone
Tai Ji Men is an ancient qigong and martial arts menpai (similar to school.) Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, Zhang-man-ren of Tai Ji Men, founded Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in 1966. Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy is a group member of the Taipei Chinese Kung Fu Association, the Chinese Martial Arts Association, the Chinese Qigong Association, and the Taipei Taoism Society. Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze is the current President of the Chinese Martial Arts Association, Vice President of the Taipei Taoism Society, former Vice President of the Taipei Chinese Kung Fu Association and the Chinese Qigong Association, Chief Advisor of the Association of Chinese Taoist Groups, Honorary President of the Chinese Taipei Judo Association and the Chinese Taipei Amateur Boxing Association.
It's said that peacocks tasted all kinds of toxic and exuded fragrance. Many audiences were touched by the dance of Love and Peace with tears on faces.
