50th Anniversary: A Significant Milestone
U.S. visionaries and organizations present Tai Ji Men Qigong

During the "2016 Chinese New Year Gathering" at Rowland Heights Community Center in Los Angeles County, California, a special ceremony of ringing the "Bell of World Peace and Love" was held, and U.S. Congressman Ed Royce, Chairman of House Committee on Foreign Affairs, rang the bell to pray for California, the U.S., and the world.Over the years, Tai Ji Men's shifu (master) and dizi (similar to students) have contributed time and money to every populated continent, spreading the ideas of love and peace and promoting qigong and martial arts, deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture. They have been recognized as "International Ambassadors of Peace and Goodwill." Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy will soon host a grand celebration for its 50th anniversary. U.S. visionaries and organizations have presented Tai Ji Men with certificates of appreciation, saying that the 50th anniversary of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy is a significant milestone worth celebrating as it has been dedicated to preserving the essence of Chinese culture and improving the physical, mental, and spiritual health of the people of the world. They also praised Tai Ji Men for setting a great example for all and are appreciative of Tai Ji Men's great contribution to the American society.

In June 2015, they started a wave of conscience that swept across California. Over 300 people including Hollywood celebrities and leaders in all circles attended "The Awakening of Conscience: World Citizens Supporting Love and Peace" on June 6, 2015. The World Film Institute especially presented a humanitarian award to Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, Zhang-men-ren (grandmaster) of Tai Ji Men, in recognition of Dr. Hong's lifelong contribution to world peace and love as well as his initiating and promoting the meaningful global movement of An Era of Conscience, which aims to awaken the conscience in the world's people and encourage them to work together for global peace and unity. On the hot summer days, Tai Ji Men dizi from different corners of the earth worked as volunteers for An Era of Conscience, contributing time and money to present a series of performances in California from June 4-14, 2015 to awaken the conscience in people's hearts, and they received many warm responses and praises.
The World Film Institute presented a humanitarian award to Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze in recognition of his lifelong contribution to world peace and love as well as his initiating and promoting the meaningful global movement of An Era of Conscience, which aims to awaken the conscience in the world's people and encourage them to work together for global peace and unity.To date, people in 196 nations have participated in the movement of An Era of Conscience, and the movement has received a lot of praise and affirmation in America. On Feb. 21, 2016, Mayor Pro Tem Mary Su and Councilmembers Eric Ching and Nancy Tragarz of the City of Walnut jointly presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr. Hong for Tai Ji Men's promotion of love and peace as well as its spreading of positive energy over the years. On March 15, 2016, during a City Council meeting, Mayor Barry Chang of Cupertino presented a certificate to Tai Ji Men in recognition of its contribution to the community and in appreciation to Dr. Hong for initiating the inspiring global movement of An Era of Conscience and carrying forward Chinese culture. The City Council and staff also joined the movement on the day.
