Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze Lauded by LA Mayor for Preserving Traditional Chinese Culture and Promoting Peace

On behalf of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Commissioner Jessica Caloza of the Board of Public Works, left, presents a certificate of recognition to Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, Zhang-men-ren (grandmaster) of Tai Ji Men, for his dedication to preserve traditional Chinese culture and promote peace.Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Los Angeles was established 19 years ago, and it will be celebrating its 19th anniversary on September 8. Under the leadership of Dr. Hong, Tai Ji Men members not only practice qigong to improve their physical and mental health, but also bring positive energy to their families, workplaces, communities, and the whole world. They have visited 100 nations, conducting cultural exchanges, promoting a culture of peace with love and conscience, and advocating the idea that the world is one big family and we are all brothers and sisters.

They were very impressed with this achievement of Dr. Hong's, praised him for his peace efforts, and wished him great success on the 19th anniversary celebration of the Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy in Los Angeles. They also endorsed the Declaration of International Day of Conscience in support of a culture of peace. To date, people in 163 nations have endorsed the Declaration.

The face of the clock bears a compass of conscience, which symbolizes that all are encouraged to follow the guidance of their conscience at all times.
