Tai Ji Men Qigong Academies in Northern California to Celebrate Joint Anniversaries: Cultivate Qi For Health, Embrace a Joyful Life

​​Dr. Huan-Yi Lu, a traditional Chinese medicine doctor from Taiwan, will offer valuable insights on relieving chronic pain and promoting overall health by integrating traditional Chinese medicine with qigong.
The Tai Ji Men Qigong Academies in Northern California are set to host a joint celebration marking two important milestones: the 23rd anniversary of the Cupertino Academy and the 1st anniversary of the Santa Clara Academy. The event, titled “Cultivate Qi for Health, Embrace a Joyful Life,” will take place on October 6 at 1:30 PM at the Santa Clara Academy. The event will feature an array of lively performances, including dragon dancing and Celestial drumming, as well as a health seminar, which will provide valuable insights into Tai Ji Men’s approach to cultivating physical and mental well-being. The event will also encourage the community to endorse the ’Declaration of the World Day of Power of Hope.’

Special guest Dr. Huan-Yi Lu, a traditional Chinese medicine doctor from Taiwan, has been with Tai Ji Men since childhood. Known for his empathetic, patient-centered approach, Dr. Lu has gained significant popularity at a young age. In his rare presentation, titled "Cultivate Qi to Strengthen Your Tendons and Bones: Saying Goodbye to Soreness, Swelling, and Pain," he will offer valuable insights on relieving chronic pain and promoting overall health by integrating traditional Chinese medicine with qigong. Additionally, Northern California-based flame artist Ethan Chang will share his inspiring life story, providing a glimpse into his personal journey of overcoming challenges in Hollywood.

The day’s activities will be rich and diverse. In addition to the auspicious dragon dance, a symbol of harmony in Chinese culture, there will be drum performances by Tai Ji Men youth and children, as well as a lively, energy-filled song and dance routine by young disciples. The event will also include interactive areas such as a cultural showcase, game booths, and opportunities to sign the ’Declaration of World Day of the Power of Hope.’ These activities aim to raise public awareness of Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy’s community and global philanthropic efforts. Everyone is encouraged to join, contribute positive energy, and celebrate together!

Dr. Hong Tao-Tze, the leader of Tai Ji Men and President of the Federation of World Peace and Love, has dedicated his life to promoting a culture of conscience, love, and peace. For decades, he has led the Federation of World Peace and Love Goodwill Cultural Group in advancing world peace across the globe. A video will be shown during the event, highlighting the delegation’s recent efforts, including a visit to Italy in May, a trip to Greece in July, and a journey through five Central Asian countries in August. From September 19 to 24, they participated in several events in New York in observance of the United Nations’ International Day of Peace, where they hosted a World Peace Bell ringing ceremony to bless the world. To date, the delegation has visited 109 countries, transcending cultural, racial, and national boundaries to promote global cooperation. As of Oct 1, 2024, a total of 585 prominent leaders from 150 countries have rung the Bell of Peace, including 72 heads of state and government and 15 Nobel Peace Prize laureates.

Tai Ji Men members from various backgrounds and age groups perform the Tai Ji Men Celestial Drums. The powerful and joyful sounds resonated with the audience, stirring hearts and awakening conscience.
In New York, Dr. Hong was honored by the Arit Fuller Foundation, an internationally renowned organization known for its humanitarian and charitable work. As a global influencer, humanitarian, and advocate for world peace, Dr. Hong received the AFFI "Key to the City Award" from U.S. Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to promoting love, peace, conscience, and hope across 109 countries.
